Bio: Maria Szugfil is a business English teacher with over 20 years’ experience, a materials writer and an aspiring author. She is an avid reader, a useful passion to have when she did the Cambridge DELTA and her MA in ELT. Taking an active role in her professional community is important to Maria – from 2018-2023, she was a volunteer for IATEFL BESIG, first as an Administration Coordinator and then as a SIG Joint Coordinator. The skills she has learned will stand her in good stead for the new projects she is working on for 2024.
